Our method

Treat the cause, not the symptom.

Where it hurts is where we start. Why it hurts is what we’re actually looking for, and everything below follows from that.

The principle

Treating the cause, not the symptom

Most massage answers one question: where does it hurt? Traditional Chinese Medicine asks more than that. What stopped moving, how long ago, and how has the rest of your body been compensating since?

That’s why a session here often begins somewhere other than the sore spot. We work with the body’s own systems, improving blood circulation, balancing Qi and restoring the balance between Yin and Yang, so the relief lasts after you leave.

It also means we’ll tell you when massage isn’t the answer. If something needs a physician, a scan, or simply rest, we’ll tell you that rather than sell you a package of ten sessions.

Understanding what is actually wrong is most of the treatment. The hands carry out the rest.

Six principles

Our approach to treatment

Lasting relief comes from treating the cause of your pain, not just the place where you feel it.

01

A plan built for you

We start by asking what hurts, how long it’s been going on, and what you need to get back to doing. Then we adjust as your body responds.

02

Treatments combined

Most sessions use two or three treatments together, so we can address the symptom and the cause in one visit.

03

Honest pricing

You pay for the time you book. No upsells, no hidden fees, and no sessions that run short.

04

Results that last

You’ll leave knowing what to do between visits, which is often what decides whether the relief holds.

05

Expert training

Every therapist here trained one-on-one with Bin Wang, well beyond standard certification.

06

A calm space

Herbal tea, a dry sauna, and a quiet room to relax in before you head back out.

What a session looks like

Consultation

Ten minutes, before your treatment time starts. What hurts, how long it’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you need to get back to doing.

Assessment

Your therapist looks at how you hold yourself, where your range of movement stops, and how the tissue feels. We work out what’s going on before choosing a technique.

Treatment

Usually a combination, in a deliberate order: open up the area, release it, then hold that change in place with warmth or needles.

Aftercare

Herbal tea, the sauna if you want it, and a short conversation about what to do, and what to avoid, between now and the next visit.

Our promise

Our promise to you

Plenty of places sell an hour and deliver forty minutes of it. These are the things we’d want promised to us, so they’re the things we promise you.

  • Sixty minutes means sixty minutes. Consultation, changing and aftercare all sit outside the treatment time you paid for.
  • No upselling, ever. Your therapist recommends what the assessment supports. If a shorter session is enough, we’ll tell you.
  • Combinations cost nothing extra. Two, three or four treatments in one visit are priced by time alone.
  • An honest prognosis. Including how many visits this is likely to take, and when the answer is only one.
  • Clean, every time. Fresh linens, sterilized tools, single-use needles.
  • The same standard from every therapist. Each one trains one-to-one with Bin Wang and must treat her competently before they treat you.

Ready when you are

Every visit starts with a consultation, so you never need to know which treatment you want before you walk in. New clients get twenty percent off their first appointment.
